ZLTFUL (My original screen name) was the license plate I had on my first car... ZLTFUL=ZELIGHTFUL (1980 Z28)
Changed it to ZILBERT when someone mentioned on here that my work life was very reminiscent of Dilbert.
The avatar is courtesy of Krolik's wife's site,
www.mybadco.com
which I have no affiliation with whatsoever but I have been told many a time, "Boy you look like a monkey make the beast with two backsin' a football out there!"

The toaster avatars were from TOB.
They were kind of an award given when you hit the 1,000 post mark.
I'm not sure who made them at first, but Scott (Slowpoke) took over the duties of customizing them for members when they hit the 1K mark.
I have mine someplace with ram horns on it.
As for my name and avatar...
Back in my college days, I was the mascot at UNC Chapel Hill, aka Rameses.
I bought a Monster and joined the board right at the end of my stint in the suit.
The avatar, I picked up a while back because of my sometimes spastic behavior which reminds me a little of our buddy Napoleon. My original intent was to Photoshop him onto a Hypermotard, but never got around to it.
I think dragsterhund started issuing/ presenting them. I still have mine too. It was given to me as parts, because I was still building my bike. I'm sure that slowpoke was in on the joke as well.

My avatar is of Maggie the Pit-bull. She is my dog. Maggie is 14 and does not have many days left. I'm not sure if I will change it when she passes.

Its up to you but it makes a good memorial.
That being said I don't have any of my dead dogs as my avatar.

This picture of her has been my only avatar. I posted this up at the creation of TOB and she followed me at the creation of this board. I was on the original Ducati Monster list (email list) before the forums. Its been a long time. might as well keep it.

I always thought the email list went away when the DML "forum" came into being.

Been away for a while - between work ramping up fast into the school year (my second year teaching high school full-time, this year moving from math to Government & Econ) and other big parts of my life going to hell over the summer, I haven't been very sociable.
My username stems from the fact that straight lines are easier to make than nice curves when you're punching hot metal, so my first touchmark (a stamp to put my "signature" on a piece of metalwork) was my initials BD. Because it was way easier to render that as two triangles for the B and one big triangle for the D, I was doing metal work under the name 3Triangle Forge for a while. I eventually dropped the 3, because it only made sense to others if I inflicted the long, boring explanation you've just endured.
I still have three triangles, though they're now arranged side by side, like this:
The avatar is a spiral; I like spirals, and I like them even better when they're glowing.

Ducati is the pretty girl that can't walk in heels without stumbling. I still love her.
