Went to deals gap for my first time with some friends.  Couldn't fit my monster on the truck with the others unfortunately.  Anyhow what a great road - the deals gap, skyway etc.  I am going back again next year.  We were 4 in a group but had 1 in the group crash at skyway.  Rider ok with lacerations and lots of pain. Bike totaled.

Video below at the gap, it's obvious that I need to work on keeping the gas constant on turns. But my f'n hand won't listen to my brain telling it to do so. I will keep working on it.

Skyway - our 1st time. What a beautiful road. The end where the passenger gets off bike and looses balance for split sec was kind of funny.

Sorry to hear about the crash, the Skyway has a few nasty decreasing radius turns.

Nice vids, thanks for sharing!

I need to get over that way, haven't been yet this year.

Seems like the rider on the vid is making a lot of mid corner corrections, why is that?

Maybe the camera position?

Yep, I am working on that.  Fighting the doubt that sets in.  Hard battle to fight n fix.
Camera position was awful as I had no time to fix during ride.  I hope to improve better next time and pick up the pace.

N yes the skyway has some deceiving turns. It's mostly nice and long swerves but then some areas like mile marker 2 , 10 are deceiving

Man I miss the sound of a triple under me!

Looks like a great time excluding the wreck.

Well lets compare last year's ride and this years  Smiley  2015-10-27

Thought to post this years surviving video footage of my ride at Deals gap - 2015-10-27.

This  5 minute footage was capture by a rider on a gold-wing who i happen to come across as i was going up.

I am on the 2006 white triumph speed triple 1050.  Again, I could not take my DM620 this year as well due to some mechanical  issues Sad

What i noticed on the video is that I need to tuck in my toes and not to cross the mid divider line.    But i think i rode a lot better than last year.  Still need to improve.
