Just got back from my first road trip on the new Monster.  After stopping for lunch on the road one day, there was a fellow (probably 50-60 yrs old) that came up to me, complimented me on the bike, and walked with me to it.  We got talking about it a bit, and then he said "I've never heard one before.  The valves...I've read so much about those valves, but I've never heard them."  Of course, I made sure to fulfill his wish.   Grin   Guess I was shocked by the fact that someone was so interested in the desmo valves instead of the usual "Uh, what's a Ducati?"

It's the truth.  Sadly, I just added a new Bonneville to the stable and now it's worse than ever before.
I'm thinking of a puppy to pull the chicks...........

Wow! I never thought you'd part with the Ural.  There's two that run around Kailua town on Sunday mornings. Dogs in the sidecars too.
