Be glad you did it when you did. Pretty smoky up there right now. I just cancelled my tomorrow Yosemite run.

We plan on hitting hwy 4 tomorrow and will report back. Today was 180 and 198 if I remember correctly. Dam near clipped a bear inside the park. Chipmunks don't count do they?

We didn't make hwy 4 because it's snowed and temp dropped to 20. With 20% grades we ran down 88. Then onto 49 North into Sac for the night. Onto Hwy 16 north and left on 20 to fort Bragg. Except for Hwy 16 we didn't run in a straight line for nearly 800 miles. I highly recommend the 1 south of Fort Bragg, much better than the section South of Santa Cruz.

Ha! you guys rode right by my house. Well kinda. I live but 15 minutes from 16 and 49. the roads up here are why I bought the Duc. ( : I despise straight lines.

Great pictures. The kind I'll look at during the coming Midwest winter and wish I hadn't moved out of CA

Love running the passes (especially Ebetts) during the warmer months. Hope to get in one more run before season is done.
