Hey everyone, I went to install my piston rings on my 01 Monster 900 and I'm a little lost. I know the oil rings are bottom, the thinner ring is top and the thicker middle. My question is, the middle ring is beveled, does the bevel face up or down or does it matter?

Pretty sure the bevel is "up", usually they've got a letter on them as well, near one end, that's "up".

Thanks, there's a letter N on one side.
