Author Topic: WTF, NCR cover do not fit, LMAO...  (Read 2544 times)

I just got this NCR cover and bolt holes on the cover does not align, anyone have this experience? looks like I can use spacers to make them fit or stock cover gasket with spacers, OR enlarge the holes. WTH... why do I have to do this? lol, Help Smiley  Pic below.

Did you buy it new? If so, I think they would definitely bend over backwards to make it right.  If not, you may be on your own to make it work.  When put on a flat surface, does it sit on the ground evenly?

Yes, I got it from ducati of indiana. I think If I enlarge 2 holes, rest will line up, I am gonna give it a shot, Yes, It sits flat and even. I am use stock gasket as template. if this doesn't work, It's going in my parts bin again. LOL Smiley

Cover for a Sport Classic maybe? Son's Paul Smart had one.

Cover for a Sport Classic maybe? Son's Paul Smart had one.

really? Are they different? I thought dry clutch cover was same for all 2 Valve engine with "dry clutch"...

Yes, It fits with OEM cover gasket, But I am selling the cover, Anyone wanna trade for other open cover? I prefer black or clear. I would also trade for set of CRG normal length levers

So it does fit, it is sized for the gasket.  Why not use the gasket?

There are threads else ware about the cover not fitting.

No, Everything fits fine now, I changed my mind about it. Just ordered the EVR half cover.
