I know that the Dainese Made to Measure stuff is actually handmade in Italy if you're looking to drop the coin on it... a review of the process here:

I'm guessing anything you get custom made from the big boys will be the same as the top end racers get.  I doubt their production lines could adjust to make one off's easily... more cost effective to just use the same team as their racers.

Nice to know Dainese does that.  [thumbsup] 7 months total and $3,500 is tough though. I'd hate to have that thing cut off me due to a bad crash!  :o

It's a big assumption that the others do it (I hope they do). Ballistik and Heroic suits are custom fit, and they're still made in Pakistan.

Haha, that's prob why Guy Martin, during that crazy flaming TT crash he had, was telling the paramedics "Dont cut my leathers" while he was in and out of consciousness in the ambulance.

And not sure about the smaller brands, but when I say big boys I meant Dainese/Astars... Spidi too prob but I think they took a huge hit in the general acceptance of their quality after Cal's suit kept on popping open.
