Hi Everyone,
Recently, I would like to buy the brand new Ducati Monster 796 through Costco Auto program. Does anyone have this experience before? Could you share with me? Is that a best way to purchase a new car? I WOULD like to know how much is OTD price and what kind of discount I can get.
Thank you

there is no such thing as the recent future.

Although once I was in Sweden three times.

At my local Costco, there was a Triumph on the floor a couple of weeks ago and  a Vespa there today.

I bought a VW a couple of years ago and asked the salesman about the Costco price. He made it sound like a basic referal from the huge box store to the local dealer. Don't see why it couldn't happen with a Duc...

I think they were doing Kawasaki's a while back but I never heard about Ducs... but yeah, pretty sure it's not like they are holding stock of the vehicle, it's a referral program with some benefits attached for the purchaser IIRC.  Like their custom kitchen/bathrooms program.

My guess is english is not his first language, so resist that urge to be a "smartAss austrAlien".  Wink

After enough tequila, this is actually possible.  Grin

: what thought and Fergus said---probably a referral program to a dealer, so as long as you trust that dealer (and the warranty is standard), I don't see anything wrong with buying through Costco.

Found the Costco Kawasaki thing:

http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/popular/kawasaki-tests-costco-sales-program/

It seems to be over now, but you get a discount on the bike, $250 costco gift card, and 20% off on accessories from the referral.

Not that bad overall.

I remember seeing the Kawasaki in my local Costco, and it seems they had some type of cruiser in there last week when I went. I assume it was a Vallkyrie or some such bike.

My Costco has a different Kaw in it each month.  Since it's a referral program, I don't see why they wouldn't do it.   coffee
