I responded to an ad on Gumtree for Monster part which included a frame.  The VIN came up listed as stolen rego plate number 1CG 142 reported stolen 12th October 2013.

Cops don't wanna know PM me if this is your bike and you want further details.

Cops told me to call Transport! Transport told me to phone the cops!

The PPSR report states it's a 2005 Ducati model unknown. From the engine number on the report (ZDM992A******) I'm guessing it's a 1000DS

Pisses me off how little interest any one in so called authority cares! No wonder very few stolen vehicle are ever returned!

I've email Justin at ProTwin and dropped into Antony at Corse Motorcycles to let them know and also posted on DOCWA website.  My only hope is the owner maybe able to recover something! But then again if I found one of my bikes dismantled and parts missing I'd be gutted.

Just tell the cops you spotted the frame on the freeway exceeding the speed limit by a nano kph.....they'll be onto it in a flash.

Use the media. Complain on your local ABC radio. They hate getting exposed in the media.
