Vivaleduc and I were working on the rebirth of his 2006 Sport Classic recently and snapped a few pics of our continually evolving bike projects.

2006 Sport 1000 Monoposto
Mods so far:
  • Custom vintage Gulf blue racing paint scheme
  • Adjustable Showa front forks
  • Ohlins steering damper kit
  • Speedy Moto belt covers, clutch cover, springs and retainers
  • Billet clutch pressure plate
  • Racing brake pad upgrades
  • Zard exhaust (not pictured)
  • Rizoma grips
  • CRG bar end mirrors
  • Custom tail chop and blinkers
  • Powder coated and ceramic coated oil cooler and other engine bits
  • DP race ECU
  • Woodcraft rearsets

2005 S4r
Mods so far
  • Carbon: DP tank lined with Caswell Plating, custom paint scheme, DP tail, headlight bucket, headlight brackets, side radiator guards, key guards, chain guard...all cleared with uv guard
  • Lowered headlight assembly below the triple with HID
  • Removed stock side panels
  • Speedy moto billet lower triple
  • Cycle cat upper triple tapped with custom mounted Matris damper
  • Oberon turn signals, fuel cap and preload adjusters
  • Yoyodyne racing slipper clutch with speedy moto retainers and cycle cat cover
  • billet oil filler plug
  • Coxx racing radiator guard
  • Cycle Cat rearsets
  • Cycle cat clip ons
  • Yoyodyne racing flywheel
  • Speedy moto sprocket cover
  • 14/43 520 gearing with stealth sprockets and ERV gold chain
  • billet sprocket carrier
  • Penske remote res rear shock
  • Custom seat
  • Billet res caps
  • Crg blindsight mirror
  • Powerlet plugs for radar
  • Open air with KN filter
  • Spark full exhaust
  • PC3 with custom map
  • Clear Alternatives smoked LED light with BackOff system

  • Full Arrow 72mm titanium exhaust
  • KN air filter

  • DP corse racing slipper
  • Speedy Moto clutch cover
  • DP neoprene racing seat
  • Rizoma LED turn system and YellowDuc fender eliminator (not yet installed)
  • Woodcraft rearsets
  • Oberon gas cap

COOOOOOLLLLL!!!  Wink Slickest driveway in the 505. I've never seen pics of your S4R up close before, very awesome, I totally dig the paint on the SC great with those decals too.  waytogo

Believe it or not, only decals on any of the bikes are on the 1098s!!   Everything on the Monster and SC are hand painted!!  Wish I had THAT talent

Couple of questions about the Sport 1000:

1) Where is the steering damper mounted? Couldn't see it in the pics.

2) What rearsets are those? They aren't mentioned in the mod list.
