It has been forever since I been on this forum; since I went down in 2008 with a 848. I have a question for all. I need get my 7500 mile service my 2008 DUCATI 1098: AMS wants $1600. I don't really want to pay that much for a service! Please hit me up if anyone knows who do it for cheaper, thanks.

Price it around....but piece of mind is worth something.  You can take it to one of the best (some say the best) Ducati service centers in the US where you know your bike will be well cared for or you can take to a shop that specializes in BMWs or Triumphs but also work on Ducatis.  Saving a few hundred bucks on a service might cost you several thousand down the road.

Just my $0.02.

On topic:  I rode my Hyper to AMS Saturday for 15K service.  Been riding her easy for a while now, and with trepidation as she has 19K+ miles and original timing belts.

I'm getting her fixed up nice by people I trust.  I don't mind letting the $ go when I can.  I want AMS in business to serve me and others.

My peace of mind is better and I have not picked her up yet.  In fact I'm jazzed about the whole deal.  Even the weather worked out for the ride up.

A little off topic:  It's good to hear from you Marquez.  I was there when you went down.

I was there, too, Marquez. Glad you got back on the horse that threw you.

I was there when you went down.

I propose we all get tune-ups somewhere and ride our Ducs together sometime.

You might check out North Texas superbikes.  David races Ducatis, builds them, etc.  He built the engine in my bike.  He will probably be a bit cheaper.  Not because he does inferior work, but it takes him longer to do it since he races a lot and has tons of bikes to work on.  So if you don't mind waiting...
