New Year's Day ride
«

So after weeks of it being unseasonably cold, I've heard we're supposed to have a warmer than usual December. Let's start planning the annual New Year's Day ride! Same as usual, road conditions permitting we meet at MotoCorsa, probably not too early, do as long a ride as the cold allows comfortably, then get together for some food and coffee. If we go by past rides, the coffee session usually lasts much longer than the ride
So far only Krolik and I have attended, and even he didn't make it one year. Of course if the roads are too slick to be safe or the weather is especially inhospitable we can still just meet for brunch and coffee. And no problem just meeting for the brunch part if the cold ride is not your thing.
All are welcome, no bike brands excluded. Do any of us beside Victor even own a Ducati any more?

And here I thought we were pretty cool with having this ride a few years in a row:

Kinda makes me want to adopt the FYBO logo and make some patches.

My friend from NY went to school there for a while. It actually snowed once. NOBODY there knew how to drive in it. The city basically shut down for a few days.
How long have we been doing this? Will this be the fourth year?

Forecast to be sunny & 34 degrees on New Years Day. Looks like another NYDR wishing for heated grips.

Air up your tires and fire up the engine tonight, hook up the battery tender if you need it. No excuses that it wouldn't start.

Just checking the weather. It should be all the way up to freezing by 10am tomorrow
So, gather at MotoCorsa at 11, ride til we can't feel our fingers, then get lunch? Where should we go for lunch?
