I know the bike photo itself is a derby but this really shows how much the new BMW naked looks like a hyper

Looks more like a monster than a hyper, but not really either.  FTR, I like it.  Nice to see some trellis.

Meh...looks how the R1200R has always looked, just with more modern "edgy" styling.

The interesting thing is they dropped the telelever front suspension for traditional forks with this iteration.

Definitely Monster but as heavy as my T-100 unfortunately.

At least this one has real forks and can have bag mounts unlike that silly R-Nine-T.  Roll Eyes

Too bad the sport windshield is so butt-ugly...

I like it.  It is good to see some trellis.  For a naked, water-cooled bike it looks cohesive.  From this angle the radiator looks well integrated. waytogo

The headlight does have similarities to the previous generation Monster headlight.

that looks like any other naked bike headlights, like a FZ6 or 1000.

btw, anyone know what jacket that is that the dude is wearing?
