IMO he'd be an idiot to sign on to ride that Honda nail.
Don't care what Honda say about 'new bike', that's SSDD they've been peddling for years, and I'm sure they told him they'd respect him in the morning.

They're struggling in F1, without Red Bulls planeloads of cash they'd be nowhere.
The MotoGP bike is a slightly improved nail, which is only competitive in the hands of an absolute phenom rider.

And FFS Loris/TenKate entered late, with a new bike (to them), and are absolutely caning the current Honda WSBK squad.
IMO, they're getting the metric ton of karma they deserve.

Didn't expect that.

I thought he'd make the move to SBK.

I think that's bonkers.

Honda's got him where they want him, on a bike he can't ride.
Why would they willingly let him go back to a bike he's won on?

Maybe Ducati will buy Lorenzo out of Honda with cigarette money. Im concerned Jack will get shafted even though Pramac like him, because Jack's contract is with and being held up by Ducati who could be consorting with Lorenzo. Hoping that Jack can be MM's team mate if it all goes pear shaped. Maybe Honda think they can use Jack to prop up the mfr and team championships as they think hes not a threat to MM, but could fill out the podium with Cal and Naki?

Edit:  Saw that, no surprise there. Except for the timing. Hope he gets a good ride worthy of his talent.
Not many vacancies though. Just read on crashnet that Jack is staying put at Pramac and probably due to the team owners intervention who showed up in Austria. Rumour is Pramac refused to have Lorenzo in their garage.  Having issue with the link.

That’s what Jack was saying, to the effect “Lorenzo will not be welcomed in the box”. The other possibility for Jorge was Petronas. I’m sure Zarco would fit right into his old seat for a fraction of Jorge’s contract
