I doubt they would make that switch next year. I think it's painfully clear to Petrucci that unless things change drastically next year, he will be looking for a new ride in 2021. Next year's silly season will be hectic. I don't think any Ducati seat is safe. Everyone will be trying to pry MM away from HRC. Not sure how much JLo is damaged goods and Zarco will also be in the market for his seat. Fabio will definitely get a factory Yamaha, which likely means that they will need to have a chat with Rossi considering that MV is showing signs of brilliance again. MotoGP retirement league, aka WSBK, will likely see a large influx of talent that hopefully will give Rea a run for his money. |
