Rabat has a contract, but those don't seem to matter much these days, and his performance has been pretty dismal. He does bring a lot of money with him, however, and it's hard for a team to give that up.

For now, Enea Bastianini and Tito Rabat are expected to be confirmed, but the latter has reportedly intimated he could break his own contract and leave MotoGP, paving the way for Marini to make his debut. Never considered that Tito would voluntarily hang up the leathers. |
