After several years as a Monster owner I have now sold it and moved on. It might be disrespectful to post it on a monster forum but here is the new one. I've gone V4 and loving it.

Congrats ... don't worry about appearing disrepectful ... if you were worried about appearances you would have kept the Monster   Wink  Grin

You might have to write a report for us.

Nice bike, I too have always liked the Tuono. It has never really been loved that much as it's looks can polarize people.
I'd also like to hear what it's like from the stand point of a regular rider, not a magazine reviewer who thinks that should be on a grid somewhere.

As there has been some interest in my ownership experience, I have posted up a short review. I put it on the general forum, basically to expose it to a wider audience. You can find it here.

I don't always agree with Boris but I do on this one.

Sorry I missed your question Don. It's a 2013 model. The main difference is that the current model has ABS and a bigger tank and maybe about 3 more HP.

Lovely bike. Congratulations.

The beauty certainly in the eye of the beholder (not really naked at all now is it).

I highly recommend people experience as many bikes as possible.

Power isn't everything, you've gotta love riding it. When I had the 1098s and I was thinking about selling the Monster, I found myself riding the Monster more as it was heaps more fun for my style of casual riding. I've has my lil monster since 2005 and I'll definitely be sticking with her.

Anyway, well done. Time to step it up a class at the track days!!!
