Try English please................. Kiss

There are some holes you need to fill in on your Saturday..............

I'll likely go to the show on Saturday (since I am NOT driving a Lambo) with my daughter.

I'll hit you up and let you know when we are on our way down there on Saturday.

Did you hear that RUSH announced a Dallas date yesterday? May 18th I believe at the AAC. No new music/album, it is their 40th anniversary tour.

Hayden found a Yamaha PW50 and Amy and I found dirt bikes we liked.  Chatted with Stuart and Jeff for a few minutes.

Bid fan of the new Mulit and Scrambler (big surprise).

Loved the KTM1290, Kawi KLR650, and new Honda VFR800.

Enjoyed the Indian Scout though not the seat.

Didn't like the new BMW S1000 XR adventure touring bike which surprised me.  I wanted to like it but the nose it terrible and it felt cheap and thrown together.  Hopefully the engine will save it.  Plus, by the age and demographic of the crowd that was surrounding it I thought a game of bingo was about to break out or they were giving away coupons for free breakfast at Cracker Barrel.   laughingdp

Tell me you're not bashin' Bingo!  Or Crackle Barrel.  I know when we're out on the road, that's the first place we look for (Waffle House being the default).  Of course if our hearts are feeling particularly healthy that day we might reverse the order.  Waffle House or Cracker Barrel?  Waffle house or...  That's why I hate road trips; too many awesome food choices.

Sounds like it was a good motorcycle show this year.  A guy from Alan's office said it was one of the better ones in years.  Even brought Alan a 2015 Ducati catalog from the show…

Big mistake  Evil

I did find the D[Air]-optioned Multistrada very interesting.  I wonder if that's an across-the-range kind of thing for Ducati now or what?  Would make perfect sense on the superbike… No that anyone ever crashes those.

That does seem odd.  Is there even a factory-effort BMW WSBK team now?

I mean BMW kind of did the same thing in Formula 1; worked with Williams - very competitively for several years - then totally disappeared.  Kinda like Toyota's F1 horrendously expensive F1 experiment (who knows; maybe Toyota sold lots more LS400s after that).

Prolly' just me but when I think of BMW motorcycles, I think of GS, dual-sport, "Long Way Down" kind of indestructible bikes.  BMW pretty well invented that class of motorbike…  But not so much when I think of "superbike," IMO.

(I'll retreat now back into my cave  Grin  )   Carry on.  As you were.
