I dont see a place for build threads so i guess i'll just make a loosly organized build thread here?
anyway, my first ducati coming from the world of honda's I sold my VFR800 in search of a duc as I wanted something more fun to customize, something with more personality, and something more nimble around town but still capable of multi state cruising.

the day i picked her up  2006 s2r800

HUGGEEE exhaust is huge! low seat didnt fit me at all, suspension was woefully undersprung but she did have a few nice upgrades, race flashed ecu, upgraded front calipers (s2r1k?) and the leo vince exhaust

first things first, chop the tail, and shorten the exhaust.

up next was to ditch the tiny upswept chrome bars in favor of the larger 22mm late model tappered bars, took some boring out of the clamps to make them fit but they look and feel SO much better

great deal on a used fully adjustable S4 rear shock, coil reloaction, little of cutting, LIKE A GLOVE

I remember when Gus (former member) rolled up with Arrows on his S2R1K, those things boomed off the canyon walls for miles.
