January 29, 2015, 12:04:59 AM »
On my regular morning commute. (My dash cam video).
Pay attention to the white Prius who passed me (on the left), and right hand side shoulder at around 0:07.

They have a way of sneaking up before you even realize they are there. Thanks for the share.

I got popped going southbound (if that's right before Rohnert Park) a month ago on the bike the same way.

So the V-1 was pretty much useless. He had you before you saw him.

following morning
Next morning. He was there, again. (This time, he was on the up-hill part of the road.)

Yes, that's exactly where it was.

In that video clip, it looks that way.
However, any detector will have the same result against LIDAR (laser speed gun).
There are "ambush technique" for the officers, there are "counter measure tactics" for the , err, road users.
BTW, notice those two cars on the left lane who slowed down AFTER passing the CHP officer?
I see this all the time. People are simply not paying enough attention.

The trick is to have a rabbit, when the cop paints them your V-1 will pick it up.
