On my regular morning commute. (My dash cam video).
Pay attention to the white Prius who passed me (on the left), and right hand side shoulder at around 0:07.

I got popped going southbound (if that's right before Rohnert Park) a month ago on the bike the same way.

M620 turned M800 but then back to M620 after the M800 died at 110k, and now to Multi 1000.

In that video clip, it looks that way.
However, any detector will have the same result against LIDAR (laser speed gun).
There are "ambush technique" for the officers, there are "counter measure tactics" for the , err, road users.

BTW, notice those two cars on the left lane who slowed down AFTER passing the CHP officer?
I see this all the time. People are simply not paying enough attention.
