Rode it over the local hills with some blokes. Was thinking how well it runs and that I will never sell it.

Is this a mod thread...

or a riding thread?

My question was a bit tongue in cheek. Wink

We'll see what it becomes.

It's a General thread  Grin

About what - in general - you did to your Monster today.  Generally.

To recap:

I removed a crappy plastic Vic Roads label holder no longer required by law.

koko64 and some blokes rode his Monster over some hills.

GK will be along soon, I know he did something to his Monster (although I highly doubt there'll be pics  laughingdp).

Nothing particularly exciting except ride it (which is exciting).

I changed oil brands from Motul to Yamalube and the small amount of oil usage is gone. Had previous success with the local Penrite oil.

Removed the TWM black folding brake lever to put on my Hyper (sorry Monster), but will fit a CRG lever on instead (as soon as I can find the little push rod thingy for it). Using a Brembo lever in the meantime. Also changed the brake fluid.

Here I am!

Now be nice Ung.

Actually, I didn't do anything Monster related today, i.e Sunday.

Saturday, I was careful stepping over the battery tender cord on the way to the workbench!

Sadly that's about it this weekend, although I did fold some Ducati t-shirts before putting them away!

Great idea for a thread Ung!

I put baffles in my exhaust.  Happy neighbours and less likelihood of upsetting the local Plod.  Not that you can hear the difference, over the clutch rattle!

Waiting somewhat impatiently for the Intake ducts to be installed on my 2007 695.

1) Topped-up the tire pressure.
2) Started it for the first time in a month. Fired right up!  waytogo
3) Rode over the pass and through the valley and back again. Gorgeous!
4) Noted how hard the seat felt after 140 miles.
5) Noticed that a chain lube is now 100 miles passed due.

I looked at it longingly whilst it sat on my patio, huddled under its cover in the frigid NY temps.
