Bike definitely feels better in the cold, but it's more fuel hungry. I'm a little different as far as fuel economy goes. I like to record it, but then again i'm getting gas every day! Cheesy

I have new pads sitting in a box at home. But not needed!! Cheesy They do look like there isn't any pad left though.

I washed the bike for the first time in 3000 miles/2 months tonight. Gravel road planned for tomorrow morning of course..  laughingdp

Bummer. Clean that up lest it ruin the paint

At least replacing one is a simple if slightly fussy job

Mmm good point - is it oil or brake fluid?

Think it's brake fluid. I'm going to order the 3 orings, i think, from CA cycleworks and just rebuild this one to get it back on the road. Wish i knew. I could have saved on shipping! Ordered my belts yesterday. Smiley

Give them a call - if they hvve not shipped the belts yet they can probably toss the rings in the same box. They are good folks.

brake fluid will rinse off with water, oil won't. Or theres the brown paper bag trick. Oily stuff will make it translucent and stay that way.
