So....the gasket I put in originally was just...too big. The trunk would not close.

I pulled it off and put a new and smaller gasket on.

The trunk lid now closes.

I put some sound deadener down over the...other sound deadener because I really hate noisy cars. They take away from the sweet melody of my tinnitus.

And then threw in the rear seats and carpet.

You might have been surprised to see both the hole under the door panel and the unpainted bit. In which case you and I would be surprised together.

I could've sworn the door panel went all the way down.

I patched and filled and painted that bit. If I had known it was going to be visible it would have been silver, too. Black is easier right now.

I can't....quite manipulate the saw as tight as I 'd like and in this case it was easier to move the new door panel around so.....one power strip as a foot pedal and a proper "make the beast with two backs Osha" attitude and.....

And I pulled the plastic off the door panel so I can scratch it easier.

Herrre birdy birdy birdy

I went with a painless harness. The old one was fresh out of smoke.

Way more than the previous four fuses.

Driver's side door has a shitty window regulator.

I have a new one that came with the car (Thanks Stu!) so it's safe to assume it's a high priority.

I don't...have the right tool for rivets and if I did I wouldn't know how to use it. If anyone *cough* Nate *cough* knows a way to install those maybe they'll speak up  Cheesy

Sure seems like it.  My world was imploding fast at that point.  That’s about all I remember really.  That and selling the Bobber.

Does that attach to the door, or the regulator arms?

Regulator arm. I have access to both sides-no rivet gun. Can I peen 'em over with a hammer and a dolly?
