4 speed manual instead Evil?

And get rid of my pushbutton transmission?! Never!

That and the pre-62 crank flange bolts up to almost nothing.

My seamstress better half says she's most impressed with the stripe line-ups on all the seat coverings  waytogo

Tell her I said thanks. It's my first cushion building, ever.

Lemme build a new frame piece.

My buddy has a nice arbor press.

Fits well-looks wonky because the magnets only held it so well.

After that I pulled most of the stuff off the motor so I can paint it.

Unlike the last build, things went on a shelf with the hardware in bins and labeled.

Hey look, a frame mount.

And welded into place:

Got the transmission back from the rebuilders. He's going through my steering box next.

Cleaned up the motor a bit

Pretty sure the oil pan holds one less quart than it should with the size of the dent in it.  Tongue

Got the frame mounted-some of the sheet metal needs work.

Picked up my newly rebuilt transmission.

And stripped the motor.

The dent in the oil pan....might have had something to do with letting the seven year old operate the engine hoist. Whatever.

Cleaned some other junk up.

I painted the motor.

Red primer.

Red sealer.

Red paint.

Came out pink.  Tongue

It looks like the one year only Chrysler colour Dubonnet. Totally not what I was going for.

Some idiot found one of the factory options on ebay.

The RCA record player-holds fourteen 45 records and plays through the radio.

I bought it.  Cool
