is it possible to adjust the ride height & pre-load on my 620?  are these things even adjustable on my bike?   Undecided

With my track day coming up I'm wondering the same thing.

The 620's have a solid, cast, non-adjustable ride height link. You will have to purchase an after market ride height bar and install it.

i doubt i'll do this on wrench day, but if i were to lower my gauges, the only cutting required is of the "U" bracket, correct?

also, does anyone know a good place in the area to purchase some of that vinyl business that Celli used on his bike?

thx,
b.

We can look at it and if it's possible, I can help you with it.

I can also fab up various brackets as needed.

I will answer for Conrad in his absence.

Yes, he will supply the beer.

Joyrides in the Miata are fine, but no more than two people in the trunk.

If you don't finish, you may load up the tools you need from him and bring them home with you.

Do not pee in the front yard.

Borrowing parts from his bike is fine.

Please bring cigars, bacon, and scotch for someguy and duckwrench. Thank you.

+1 drink

You can pee in the bushes on the side of the house, or between the trash cans. laughingdp

I may need to change my brake pads. I'm going to take a look at them tonight and see how they look. If I need to, is this something somebody could help me do?
If yes, where is a decent place to order from? Shall I just hit up my local Duc shop?

Well I canceled my other plans so I might make this who knows..

I need to install a 520 chain kit, align and install new fairings, install rearsets, new steering damper, quick gas cap, new aluminum front fairing stay as well as change my oil.

It's a bunch of crap so I might just stay at my casa to keep from invading your workspace.

a street bike?  you're crazy!

after a little 1000 mile trip down to LA, I'm regretting the clip-ons and rearsets.  Do you have bar risers also?

Since this so local, the wife and I will try and stop by and say HI.  We leave on our road trip the next day, so our bikes should be not needing any last minute work, but it will be fun to annoy those who are working on their bikes  Evil  laughingdp

I will send a PM as soon as I figure out how to use that function on this board...  Roll Eyes

Usually most people arent up for doing valves. Last time I did them it took a while since I was helping others (cdroiunkginhg). For anyone who is planning on doing valves. You need to get your bike there the DAY BEFORE. Valves cannot be adjusted if the bike is warm. If you get there at 10:00 and want to get started you'll be waiting pretty much the entire day for your bike to cool down.

Luckily Conrad's not too far away from the San Bruno CalTrain station. If you see a guy with an assload of tools on his back walking down the street at 9:30am on Saturday. Make sure your wave. Better yet..Give me a ride!!

That shouldn't be a problem this time around.  The rest of us should be able to handle everyone else needing help this time around.
