DarkStaR: Thanks for hosting an unforgettable MOB Wrench Day!  I had a ton of fun - I am once again overwhelmed by the DMF community and the generosity of its members!  Special thanks to:
1. DarkStaR for the hospitality, tools, other gadgets involved in changing my oil.
2. DuckWrench13 for adjusting my forks - yeah, you're right, it has changed the way I ride, I don't feel like I need to hold the bike upright anymore when I make turns (didn't even realize that I didn't have confidence letting the bike make turns)!  I feel like I have a new and bigger SS!
3. Juan and Jammen for showing me the way on the oil change
4. Ptam for those out-of-the-world short ribs and (whether you like it or not) you've got the job being GrillMeister
5. Someguy for the bacon and never-ending enthusiasm for DIY oil changes

Overall consensus was that I don't need synthetic, racing, pink oil that costs $54/gallon next time...  Roll Eyes
Great meeting everyone yesterday.  Here's to scotch, bacon and brats!  I'll post pics on my Flickr account after my errands today...

Good hanging with all of you!

Duckwrench13,
Thanks again for the suspension set up. I can't wait to get to it on the road.  waytogo

EEL,
You've got a real talent for explanations. Thanks for all the lessons. You deserve a full professorship.

DarkstaR - thanks for hosting and your array of generosity.

Ditto on that, thank's for hosting Dark Star.  Just a reminder, Dark Star mentioned that he's missing some tools in an earlier post.  Please check  to make sure you didn't accidentally end up with:

Missing Craftsman Tools:
1) 22mm 1/2" drive socket.
2) 1/2" drive to 3/8" drive adapter.
3) 3/8" drive 10" extension.

Thanks again everyone for a great time!

Darkstar, awesome setup and great job hosting!

Duckwrench, thanks for looking at the MV. You're absolutely right, after a year of chasing my tail it's time to take it in and have it checked out by someone with the correct tools and know-how.  waytogo

Eel, you made sure to get all the string outta your motor right?   Grin (Use the wheel!   Wink    chug )

Ptam, when can we raid your freezer?
Charlie, when do you wanna help raid ptam's freezer?

TCK, sell Someguy the 'berg, that'll totally free up more time and space for the other bastid stepchildren.   drink

And finally, thank you   bacon.

Undecided I just came from the city (traffic F'n sucked there today), oh well.  I "usually" don't venture that far north anymore.

We can work something out later, or if you happen to be in the area, it can just be dropped in my mail box.

Thanks for letting me know were it is.   I was  bang head trying to find 'em.  waytogo

Thank you DarkStar for allowing us all to use your place. I'm really glad that the MOB is such a great set of people. My new brake pads work great and I'll be able to change my g/f's brake pads myself no problem. That's worth more than just the money saved.
Today I was still in a motorcycle maintenance mood and raised the fender on my g/f's Ninja so she can run larger tires for our track day.

Mmmmm, motorcycles.

Thanks again, everyone.
