I've been pondering updating the switch gear on the trusty 900 and in poking around parts diagrams - it appears that the 696 has a (mechanical) cable connected fast idle lever.

Is this the case?

IF yes, anyone have a notion if it could be used to replace the separate fast idle/throttle advance on the 900? The current/existing one sets a bit odd due to 999 masters.

-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

I have a 696, but I had old masters. Which are made for the connected throttle advance. Worked no issues
