One of the coolest Japanese bikes I've seen in the road in person was the Suzuki RG500 2-stroke.

As soon as I saw this thread I thought the same thing.  The Japanese Two-strokes (classics street-bikes).. I had a Yamaha RZ500.. Wish I still did...

Some guy in Goleta CA is dumping his collection on Craigslist, at a steep price.

RG500  http://santabarbara.craigslist.org/mcy/5076979465.html

NS400R  http://santabarbara.craigslist.org/mcy/5077033258.html

TZR250  http://santabarbara.craigslist.org/mcy/5077042108.html

RZV500  http://santabarbara.craigslist.org/mcy/5077067529.html

All look to be in good condition, if not correct.  Your posing abilities would become legendary.

I could fill pages with pics of what I think are cool Japanese bikes of yesteryear.

But are there any miscellaneous cool current era Japanese bikes?

He's a little steep on that RG500 for my wallet!

I changed to Italian because I wanted a Monster.  Got GSXR I totaled was fast but had no personality.

Hmmmmm....  Good question.

Honda Grom?

Kawasaki H2R maybe?  (if one could get over that styling...)

Yamaha R3?

I dunno...  I'm reaching here.

That NS400R is not priced too high IMO... I like and could afford that!
