"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

My pops had a slew of DS19's and one or two DS21's in the 1970's.
New replacement parts were horrendous expensive, so 2-3 parts cars were employed to keep 1 running.
Frequent replacement of worn-out parts with half worn-out parts.  Undecided

One of those vans would be cool, piques my interest.
But I'm sure they're priced well above what I'd be willing to pay.
And I served every year of my Citroen Sentence, and didn't get any reduction even with good behavior.

My brother broke down in a Peugot during the Blizzard of '78 in Boston.

Some fine French engineering. Grin

There are short video clips of the UK Wheeler Dealer episode on the HY van. They restored/upgraded it completely and sold it for, IIRC, about $30,000.
