Well boys & gals, I finally broke down and made a choice...
After a recent visit to Munich and a certain lovely museum, I fell in love with another brand.

Here she is...

Evil

2015 BMW S1000R Premium, Dark Storm Metallic

After many long years of having fun and solving problems with you lot, I'll certainly be sticking around. The monster has been slow to sell anyway... might just keep it too  Grin

Just finished up the first 600m, and my break-in service is tomorrow. If you have a chance to test ride an S1000R, don't do it... because you're going to buy it if you do.

I've had one, the S1000R, for a year and 5,000 miles now.  waytogo  Doesn't make the boom-boom of the Duck but still sounds real good for an I4. It is a crazy good bike in most respects. There are some niddling issues here and there but don't all bikes have those?

I thought the same thing man – it's stupid fast! I'm actually perplexed at why someone would ever need to travel by land that quickly...  Grin
That being said, it's very manageable, extremely mobile/flickable, and has PLENTY of safety features to keep in this universe. These days, 1000cc time machines seem to be becoming the only choice!

Take one for a test ride man, you won't regret it... Your wallet might, but you won't!
