I'm stunned. RIP Dennis. Best wishes to his family, loved ones and friends. This summer is not going well. AFAIK, he didn't have a Beemer, but he had a Hawk.

No way! I just met him at the Flight Cycles open house a while back. He said that he hit the crest Sunday mornings real early - I looked forward to going up there once at the crack of dawn just to be able to see him and his sweet green monster Don't take anything for granted guys - every second counts. You may run the risks, my friend, but I do the cutting. We cut down my percentage---uh, cigar?---liable to interfere with my aim.
The final measure of any rider's skill is the inverse ratio of his preferred Traveling Speed to the number of bad scars on his body.

Wow this is hard.... 2nd friend this month to pass away.
Dennis lived his life like an 18y.o. that didn't know any better....and he was 60. Someone asked him why he was buying a high-performance Italian motorcycle as *his* age. Dennis simply replied, 'I'm not getting any younger!' He had personally partied with Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin. True stories.
He rode like the wind and lived his life with furvor and vigor. We should all strive to this.
I'm happy that I was able to help him live his life to the fullest by building his Monster and helping him with service work as well.

It's interesting how just reading about someone can make you feel like you knew them and cause you to miss them even though you have never met. Condolences.
