Solution for chain rubbing on swing arm (SSSA models)?

I'll tell you this much. When I replaced my chain slider on my old s2r 800, the replacement slider looked completely different than what I had on my bike. Ducati changed it out for a different part. It was massively beefed up and longer.

This in itself solved my issue with the chain rubbing. I think they knew of the problem but didn't advertise the fix.
