899 becomes 959, Body changes, more race like aeros, anti hop clutch and a TERRIBLE looking stock exhaust. Side exit lump... probably a noise restriction matter IMO. The sessy under body style a la 1299 or 899 are aftermarket DP parts
For the US, Canada and Australia, the 959 gets the underslung exhaust.

Love at first sight, except for those wheels. Put one some nice, simple 5-spokes and I am there.

A red one would look nice parked next to my H-D VRSCR.  Cool

I wonder if that would be a game changer for me?

You noticed I wrote that the non-S wheels are less flashy?  waytogo

A few V-Rod styling cues I reckon for sure.

I can't find a picture of the non-S version. Not a huge fan of the RSD wheels...

I like it better without the silver accented wheels and belt covers.

Those two items make it look...like shit.

Anyone else notice the displacement?  1262cc's.  Or, basically: the absolute maximum of the old engine (Pantah based).  A DS1000/1100 crank in a 106mm bore engine.  Which leads me to think that all future new models will be Panigale based bikes since the SBK's will be V4's in the future...

In other words, the swan song of the Pantah engine is this 1262cc mofo...  I suspect this will just be the first chassis to offer it and a 1262cc Multi will follow.

Thanks for pointing that out. So, the end of the line. I hope they go with full gear driven cams if they ditch belt drive.
