Examined Kopf's pic above, and compared with pics of GP14.2.

Something's definitely FUBARed in the rear suspension, swingarm angle is very flat.
Whether that happened prior to the tire failure or when the bike was pinballing down the road, can't say.

There'll be an 'official' report at some point.

Video of Baz's incident:

Looked like the bike took a shot at him toward the end.

Tire disintegrates at :04. Not sure how far he slid, (4-500ft), but the bike did chase after him.

Great insight again. Like Bridgestone, they will work through it. Reminds you how dangerous the sport can be when you add the chaotic variable of technical failure.

With a soft rear tyre take a second off Stoner's time...

Stoner was the fastest duc on the hard tire.

Starting to feel bad for Dovi now... It feels like even when he is the lead rider for the team he still winds up being the 2nd class rider. But then again he's the king of late braking and the michelins are probably the opposite of his style of riding.

Any reason Danilo is doing so well? Is his size/weight making it easier to get something more out of the michelins?

Maybe DanP gels with the hybrid Duc and was better than we all thought? That control ECU is having a good effect in levelling things (and helping Ducati). The tyres too I guess, although they're hurting Dovi, but the changes might help the adaptable young generation, if they're good enough, to close the gap on the Aliens and veterans.

Interesting that they tried to throw the Avintia team under the bus for running air pressure too low.

Kudos to Avintia for thinking on their feet, and pointing out that the only person in their pit box with a tire pressure gauge was wearing a Michelin shirt.

The sound was pretty impressive.

The look on Dylan Grey's face was priceless.

Scroll down to the second vid. If the dude didn't drop his camera, he would have caught the whole crash.

Watching live timing. Guess who's running second and only 2/10s behind JLo and a 10th in front of MM? Grin
Gigi is drawing up a juicy contract as we speak.
