For those not familiar with it.
Happens every other year.
They run the full "24 hours of Le Mans circuit".
Broke down into 6 "grids"; 1923 to 1939, 1949 to1956, 1957 to 1961, 1962 to 1965, 1966 to 1971, and 1972 to 1981.
Each grid competes in three 1 hour races, including running at night.

It's a chance to see  the great cars from the past actually running.
Bugattis, Jags, Porsche 917s, Ford GT 40s, Ferraris..........

If you decide to go, the southern end of the "T-1" streetcar line is inside the track,  then it's a 7 minute walk to the Dunlop bridge. So book a hotel walking distance to the "T-1" streetcar line.
