As the title would suggest, Alan and I are heading out to Muenster and the Red River on Saturday April 16th.  We'll stop in Muenster for lunch.  Planning on leaving from Dallas around 10 a.m. or so (pretty flexible on that aspect of it).

I'll most likely be in. If you can believe this, I have NEVER made the full Muenster run!! I went with you guys for a small part of it a few years ago, but I bailed in Decatur as I couldn't do the whole day.

Well that will be cool.  I would have failed that test; thought for sure you've been on the whole ride before.

Add me to the "definitely maybe" list. Current barometer shows a 90% chance of vroooom.  Dolph waytogo

Hah! I went with a brand-spankin'-new 16' Multistrada S Touring/Urban (red of course). Picked her up last Friday and gave her a good flogging over the weekend (600 mile service time).  Grin  This bike is phenomenal!!

I'm in the process of putting together a tablet-based gps setup and plan to do full termi's in a month or two.

Looking into alternate windscreens for longer trips as well. The stock one isn't too bad, but I'm tall and could use some extra coverage. Did you stick with the stock screen on yours?

Very nice choice although I'm partial.  I was looking at the termi set up as well but for that price I passed, MIIV and SC Project now have a full exhaust available for a third of the price.
My screen is the Puig racing but I do have the stock screen I'll put on for longer trips.  So are you making the Muenster ride?

I'm afraid if I test ride a Multi... I'll be trying to trade in my Monster.   bang head

Looking forward to seeing the Puig racing screen on your ride. Definitely planning on Muenster but you know how things go; can't commit 100% until the day before.

Just remember how much cooler you look on the Monster. The only think I can fault the MTS for so far is the dweeb factor of the seating position. Thankfully I'm a middle-aged guy now so, when in Rome!  laughingdp

Well... I put Heli Bars on my CBR1000F so I could set upright, and my other (current) bike is an XR650.  I like setting up.  I'm an old guy now...  Grin

The comfort factor on the Multi is great!  Also, I think you're head is probably about the same height off the ground as drivers in SUVs or trucks so your ability to see farther down the road is greatly improved.  Add to that rearview mirrors that are huge and the riding experience in heavy traffic is automatically just that much less stressful.  Oh, and the ridiculous amounts of torque to get yourself out of the way of trouble is just a hoot.

Great bike, those Multis.  And congrats on your purchase, dallas2r  applause

Fingers crossed on this Spring weather carrying through to next weekend… it was 69 degrees yesterday on the way home.
