Boston Area Shops?
«
on:

Hey guys, newb on here. I'm looking for opinions on what is the best shop in the Boston/NE area? I've got an older Duc (92 900ss) that needs a significant overhaul and I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations?
Obviously as this is an older bike I'd prefer to go somewhere with techs that have some hands-on experience with older machines (not just the latest all new models etc.).
Any recommendations are greatly appreciated and apologies for the non-Monster content (I'm in the market for [another] one of those too).
Thanks!

Take it to Eric at Clubhousemotorsports.com. He worked for Bruce Meyers for years and has been out on his own now since BCM closed...10? years ago?
He does all my work and I can't recommend him highly enough.

I 2nd Eric. Great guy and willing to share any info. I would only trust him with my bikes.
If you are looking for something close to Boston, and in a pinch, could try Riverside. The PO of my ST swears by them, even though I redid most the maintenance performed by them. Heard they had a change in staff since then, so they might be worth a look see.

Hey this is really fantastic, the last time my Duc was serviced it was at BCM, so Eric may in fact have had his hands in it previously, which is perfect. Behold the power of the Internets.
Thanks so much, will follow up with details once the work is complete (someday)!
Thanks thanks thanks!!!

I lived around the corner from their new location in Medford and was completely turned off by them. Sleazy sales dude, *completely* dickish service guy.
Depending on the type of work you want done, give Adam Schoolsky at Rocket Moto in Nashua a call.

Thanks to all for the feedback/input!
Spoke to Eric last week and he is CLEARLY the guy to take the SS to, planning on it after the 4th, cannot wait to resurrect that beast.
And in the meantime, going to have to have a close look at the '00 M750 I bought on Saturday as the service has all been done at Riverside. Seems to be running pretty well, but you never know!
Back in the game!
