i too have these collars. they are nice piece of work.
mine are also on the 51mm section of SBK forks... however i just bought the 50mm pieces and cranked them down nice and tight. they opened up just enough to fit perfect... sure they're a little tight, but eh, whatever. never reall have to take them off again Wink

You are hurting me, a m.  Ordered the rings to get rid of the U bracket.  Then read your comments about the IMA triples, looked at the pictures, looked at my order for a new AR (6920), then looked at the triples, then at the AR, then the triples, then, did the only thing I could do.  Ordered the triples, the AR, and an Aimpoint too.  I'll have pictures in a couple of weeks.  Thanks again.
