Hey, what's up folks?

Just thought I'd drop a note to introduce myself to the DMF community as I only just joined the site. I just got back in the game with a cheaply bought and pretty decently kept (and soon to be improved) 2000 M750. Not my first Monster as I had a '97 M750 from '98-2004, which I sold off to buy my dream bike, a black and white (frame and wheels) 92 900ss, which I still own but is itself about to undergo a major resurrection, as it has been sitting for 5+ years.

Essentially, I rode through all my 20s and early 30s, before producing multiple kids (3) and adding a lot of other interests and responsibilities got in the way for about 5 years. Got back in the saddle (no coincidence) right after my divorce in 2014, picking up a great old '81 Honda CB750k cafe racer which I also still own and ride (though a friend will be "watching" it for me this summer and may end up buying it).

Yes, three bikes, and I just sold my car so, pretty much back into riding (semi) seriously. I work from home and travel a decent amount so, really just a weekend (and weeknight) warrior.

Loose plan is to clean-up, wrench and ride the pants off this M750 all summer (god and Italian mechanicals willing) and then send her off for some fettling over the winter. Thoughts of maybe turning it into a track day beast at some point.

Anyhow, that's me. If you knew me as "Hinesy" in my younger, less subtle (aka asinine) days on CD-ROM, DESMO, 1down5up or CycleForums, please don't hold it against me. Hopefully you'll find a far less obnoxious and semi-mature version of that old self here (ex: you won't catch me arguing politics, ever)!

Located in Boston (Brookline) and always looking for sane, interesting people to ride with.

That is all!  Grin
