Don't worry, when they break you can get replacements real cheap at Office Depot.  Grin

lol, that's encouraging!

spoke with pj of pjsparts.com today
and he was going to look into retrofitting a spring on the rizomas next time he went by the machine shop,
just keeps forgetting to bring the rearsets with him...
the rizomas DO have the rubber o-ring return spring, of which they provide 2,
which appear to be long-lived,
but i think i would certainy go hunt down a simple spring to take its place...
if the rest of the rearsets are up to the usual rizoma standard and thats the only thing holding them back,
i think theyre certainly worth doing....

Its just a bizarre thing. Rizoma MAKES nice parts and to include a rubber band is a cop-out in my book.

One of my buddies has them on his monster and if you have wide feet or like to be out farther on the peg you may find the stock pegs too short. He had to install the optional (extra$$) folding pegs to get them the way he wanted.

Rufus120 do you have pictures of that 1098 and Sportclassic the rearsets are on in the teaser pics? Interesting colors it seems.

I don't see many new products for the older style monsters being introduced. SpeedyMoto sounded like they were going to make them, but they also said they are working on a line of 696 parts.
That's wack that development isn't considering older monsters. I'm not giving up. Besides, the UK ebay/Europe seems to cater to "us."

Perhaps the 1098 is the one on the SM site:

Cheers!

At the anodizers now... I told them to mark me down for 10 sets right off the bat. I don't know when the monster sets will be ready - SBK are first. They are very excited to get these as are we!

I've not heard that they are going to do them for the S4R series... last I heard was SBK, then the new monster and hyper/MTS.

Thats cool, I'll support companies that support my bike then...The speedymoto springs and caps will be the last thing I ever buy from them.

I'd check directly with them to make sure - I don't work for SpeedyMoto - just a retailer of their products.

Most companies don't go back and make products for non-current models when they come out with something new... For example when ZARD started making exhausts it was during the S2R/S4R era and they didn't go back and make exhausts for the older monsters.
