It will probably have milder cams/timing smaller ports/valves and a real flywheel/substantial crank to make it nice to ride on the street. I hear some say the Panis and 1198s are harsh street bikes until you go for it. I met a guy on a D16 who said it was a nicer street bike than his 1198! I have not ridden either so I took his word for it.
If the air cooled big bores are finished (and sadly they seem to be), I would have preferred a liquid cooled long stroke 1300-1400 desmodue per the Motus grunt philosophy.

Young hipster Wink. I think my kids would like it. You probably get a pair of cool ripped jeans with the bike  Grin

Whence hath ye gone, my love?  It's like Ducati hired an Austrian science fiction novelist to design the new monsters.

yup.

The new "Supersport" has nothing at all in common with the history of the bike.

it's a last-gen SBK with a few down-tuned tweaks and a fugly exhaust.

Quick, name all the SS bikes that had a single-side exhaust.

Well that's.....interesting....

Although I don't understand the need to have two "Monsters" that are so drastically different. But I guess they did the same thing with the 620 and S*R series...

You mean like an S4r Testastretta vs a 620?  or any 4v vs 2v bike?

That's not so unusual for them.
