I add that idea but after a little bit of reserch it seam it would alter  the integrety of the wheel so I didin't tried this idea .
You can safely heat aluminum to 350-400F, actually much higher, without affecting the structure.

You'll have a hard time achieving too high a temp with a heat gun due to the fact that the rest of the wheel will dissipate the heat.

Hello

Where are you in the work on the bike?

You do not hand over the MOTOGADGET M-unit?

I 've put the project on old for a few month's now...  whit the new house and home renovation it took a tool on my budget.  I work on it from time to time .  But for the moment I want to be dept free  Grin
I've manage to pay around 8000$ of dept (credit card+  the car) since jully...  bow down

I'm not taking any stupid credit card for the rest of my life !

The bike is still in peace's although I've started to reasemble the motor(finish)  whit the swingarm. All the electrical is done I just to have to put it on the bike.

Tanks

Indeed a house it takes time and a lot of money...... chug

I was asking for the M-unit Motogadget as I begin installing mine on my motorcycle.

I saw on one of your previous post that you had put back an original wiring harness, so I thought you had a problem with the M-unit.

Originaly I add to put back the original loom because the way that I've built it .... the loom was to big to my liking...  I've redone the entire loom about 3 or 4 time trying each time make it gradually smaller.

The m-unit work realy well  the times that I've put it on the bike.   Also all the other motogadet that I have work flawlesly for the last 3 years . I didin't have any single issues whit them ( m-lock and the tiny speedo gauge)  bow down

Must be great to be getting close to completion.

The original colours will look great.

As someone who has hunted unsuccessfully for the true original Ducati gold color in powdercoat, could you be so kind as to post some sort of link to this person, the color used, or anything else helpful?  I'm sure I'm not the only one here...

The frame on Dennis' bike looked pretty close to OEM shade when I had it in a year ago.
