New to motorcycles but decided my first bike should be my dream bike. (stupid Roll Eyes).  I'm 6'6", 230lbs so I still need to get the rear height adjusted a little but it is surprisingly comfortable even for my size.

Danmoto full titanium exhaust and various other little things.

Welcome!

Fill that tank with stabilized E-0 to prevent swelling. Seems you have enough in UT! http://www.pure-gas.org/index.jsp?stateprov=UT

Thanks! Yeah I wouldn't say the tank is perfect but it is pretty close. The guy I bought it from told me about it. The problem is that we only have 88 octane.

As it's an S2R, some here think that's good enough. Wait for feedback.

I'd be one of those that know that 88 octane R+M/2 is plenty for a 1000. It's only a 10:1 compression ratio. Any more and you're wasting money and making carbon deposits.

Ducati always has, and still does IMO, recommend far too high octane ratings.

Start a thread in tech if you want to discuss it.

It runs fine and doesn't seem to lack power like my 300zx did on low octane fuel. I have no problem with it.
