Aimed at the other (non hipster ) young people; the Glamours. My kids would go for that.

So, what's the reason for the longer service intervals for the 4 valve motors (18000 miles vs 7500 for the Desmodue)?

Marketing around less expensive servicing I guess.

I tried to preorder the new Monster but I was refused on the grounds of being too old and ugly  Wink. "Sir, we have this nice Multistrada 1200 instead". Grin

Man, them pegs are low and far forward.

And it's better looking than anything that's come out after the S*R series.

It appears to have a steel tank.

I actually kinda like the lines of the frame.

All of that is pending in-person inspection of the real thing.

It does increase my anticipation for the Moto Show in ~2 weeks (not that my anticipation was very high to begin with...).

Compared to my 821's stock pegs, those look to be about 1" lower and probably 4-6" forward!

Those wheels look like they are off of an early 80's Yamaha. Too bad as the 796 had beautiful wheels.

Head light is an improvement. Trellis frame. OK, Virago wheels. Is that a hinged steel tank with a front clamp? Shots
