19" front wheel. Hmmm, maybe this will tempt Ung.
Pity it wasn't another 40-50lbs lighter.

Starting to look more ADV (and similar to BMW's line). As an ST owner, I'd sure like to see something swing more that direction. Something to compete with MV's Turismo Veloce...

How much does it weigh?

I heard 500lbs wet. If that's true it's too fat imo.

Seems to be par for the course for the luxury adventure bikes:

KTM 1190 Adventure = 568 lbs
BMW F800 = 472 lbs
BMW R1200GS Adventure = 564 lbs
Suzuki V-strom 1000 = 503 lbs
Honda Africa Twin = 511 lbs

I really wished that Africa Twin were lighter.  Would be my next bike if it were.  To compare, the more basic DSs definitely drop some weight.  Who the hell needs an electronically adjustable windscreen??

Suzuki DR650 = 366 lbs
Kawa KLR650 = 432 lbs
Honda XR650 = 346 lbs

(* all weights are curb weight based on google searches)

Would have been good to get the 950 down a bit below the F800. I mean Ducati are known for light bikes. I take my modded Hyper up dirt roads and it is around 165 dry and its heavy enough.
