so my next question is, how does one go about aquiring the toaster? or how does it get passed on? 

I've had toasty 4 times, 3 times without asking.  1 time I stole it from DucPainter and passed it on about 30 minutes later.

We are aware of the change in "supposed" ownership of the Toaster
Although we do not accept that anyone can "own" the Toaster, we also do not like the fact that the new owners of the DML were unwilling to pay the required ransom for the appliance.
So we have started to monitor this new, pretender site, in hopes of furthering the agenda of the TLO

And we are perfectly willing to blow the Toaster up, or otherwise sacrifice it in the furtherance of our cause
