Front wheel gone without permission - bike and rider slide ~100 meter - bike straight without tumbling. Rider on track -> curbs -> grass. Curbs are not slide friendly.

Peg replaced. Handlebar and stuff back where they belong. Small paint damage on fairing and tank. 'Need' a mirror and a break lever.

Front wheel gone without permission -

That is an awesome way to put it.   You're looking at the bike where as a community, we're also concerned about the rider!  I'll just assume that the body and spirit are still good  waytogo

Thanks, yes, but I recommend being twenty if you're crashing more often than once a decade  Wink

It must have....  wet asphalt is ok, curbs are worse and grass/dirt rotated me a couple of spins.

Thanks!

Even at our age, a little lowside isn't that terrible. The rest of it hurts. Wink

I'll avoid the curbs next time. Or not crash at all. We'll see...

I've also noticed that I don't seem to bounce off of the ground as well as I used to.   Relieved to know that it's not me getting old,  just that the earth's durometer is rising....
