It's only money, they print it every single day.

You'll get laid at least once more every week just because you've got an MV Agusta.

Complete strangers will buy you steak dinners.

I know a bunch of people that own them. Most are using them on the track.

I really like the F3...if I had Nick's money. ;D

How far away from home are you planning on riding? If you are going more than 200 miles from home base I'd say look into a Superduke 1290 GT. Maybe not quite as sexy but has a far better dealer base and still gobs of fun.
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

... My Brutal 1078RR has clip-ons and i rode it from L.A to Laguna Seca for WSBK last year. No issues with comfort and the haul ( hwy 23-126-150-33-58) into Paso Robles was a BLAST ! [thumbsup]

Thanks, guys. You all crack me up!   [clap]

KTM's design aesthetics just don't do it for me and I have a hard time getting past that, despite probably being a solid bike.

OTOH, the Brutale has that same MV sex appeal. There's one in my area that's been on CL for half a year; '07 910R with low miles for under $5500. I've been sorely tempted. But I learned from my Monster that I really want/need more wind protection along with waterproof hardcases large enough to stow my helmet.

Steaks for nothin' and chicks for free sounds good, though!  [thumbsup]

I've owned an F3 675 since 2012; bought it when I lived in Charlotte, NC, where there was a good dealer. I now live in Michigan and the nearest dealer is in south Chicago, 300 miles away.

There's more to MV than the look. That 3-cylinder motor has tons of power and character, more character than the Monster 1200 I sold last year. And the handling is sublime.

I keep hoping someone will open a dealer here in the Detroit area. Interestingly, I faced the same sort of service/parts dilemma back in 1982 when i bought a Ducati Pantah - few dealers and parts hard to find.
