My name is Steve and I am the new (to me) owner of a 2009 Monster 1100S. It has 4k miles on it and has been heavily accessorized. I bought it from my friends at The Transportation Revolution (Ducati, Triumph, Vespa dealer) in New Orleans. I live in a rural parish about an hour north of the city. It is my first Ducati, although I have wanted one for several years. My other bikes include a 1996 BMW R1100RS, a 2008 Triumph Street Triple, and a 2012 Triumph Tiger 800 abs. I just sold a 1999 Honda Valkyrie. The Street Triple has been my preferred style of riding, so I hope this bike adds to my backroad riding pleasure.
